How often do you hunt public land.

For turkey season I was pobably 90% on public. Deer season changes form year to year. West Branch is only about 25 minutes away and most of the private land I hunt is betrween 45 minutes to 2+ hours away. So it just depends on how much time I have.

I voted 40%. I hunt every year on the WNF for 6-8 days straight during the rut. Even though this doesn't sound like 40%, the amount of hours I'm in a stand during that week is easily 40% or more of my total hours in a bow season. I really don't get to go all that often... The private land that I hunt is an hour away, so it's a weekend thing and there's no way for me to do it EVERY weekend. In all honesty, I absolutely love bowhunting on the WNF. It's a great change of scenery for me and I see lot's of deer.
