Just lost power wtf!!! Louisiana gonna get hit hard, it’s at 150 mph now and 4 hours from landfall. This will be the worst hurricane to hit Louisiana. It’s still building and increasing all the way to landfall. Slidell will be 60 miles east of the eye if it stays on course. I don’t know if I can go through another if I loose everything.

@triple_duece it looks like it's going to lose intensity pretty quick after landfall. If we believe the map you should get cat 1 winds at your house. . Grand Isle is going go get destroyed though. 145 mph cat 4.

The latest imagery from the NHC shows the eye wall deteriorating and becoming less organized as it came up in the flats and approached landfall. This is great news for the communities more inland. Grand Isle LA has a population of about 1,500 and is taking a direct hit. The storm was 1mph shy of a cat 5.

Probably in some low lying areas barely above sea level. This was our pier and boat ramp area earlier but most areas were clear. Two routs up to 90 were flooded but the evacuation route was still dry.
