Had a couple of little scrub bucks dogging 3 does for about 90 minutes, and a nice flock of turkey's this morning. Still waitiing for my chance....
Had a small 6 cruising with his nose too the ground this morning that was it for the morning.....

I'm still at work this week. The rut begins tomorrow morning when I hit the woods. Just thought I'd let you know. Take the day off and join me.
My dad just sent me this pic. Look in between the fancy truck and the trailer. It's an 8 chasing a doe.

That truck is a classic. Some day Moundhill or Diablo will have a mullet and drive one just like it.

That truck is a classic example of 1992 isn't it? I can't even buy a doe right now let alone a buck. Waiting on babysitter to get here in the morning and plan on sitting from 9-10am until dark. Stinking Veteran's Day/Parent teacher conferences tomorrow have my kids at home and my wife works. I am going to go find the rut tomorrow one way or another. Might even start on one property with checking trail cameras to determine where I am sitting. lol

Lol... Sorry to hear that, bro. You're gonna have to wait until the end of next week. My boss has all my duck gear out in North Dakota right now, and I won't be back from Morgan County until next Friday! Hang in there, man... It's gonna heat up very soon.
I saw several roadkill bucks while driving around Medina County today. At about 3:00 p.m., I watched a small 8-pointer running around stupid in the middle of somebody's yard.

Lady at my office hit a buck this morning on her way to the gym... It really crinkled up the front of that Kia! She said it was chasing a doe.
Not a dang deer for me this evening. It was such a long day at work waiting to get out for zilch.
