Best evening I have had by far!! got in the stand at around 1, and had a nice buck coming towards me while hooking up my safety strap, he turned at about 75 yards and went up into some thick stuff and found a doe he started to chase around out of sight, sottly after all hell broke loose just out of eyesight where they had gone, antlers crashing together , tree limbs breaking and all!!! about 10 minutes later seen another nice buck exiting the back side of the woodlot, he must of been the loser. overall seen 5 bucks, 4 does and 2 button bucks, things are starting to heat up!!!

Good to hear Tad!

I had a shitty day. Ruts don't exist when I enter the woods. I am a black of deer activity this year. I saw the same buck twice today, once at 7:15 when he walked a circle around me and again at 10:15 after he'd made a HUGE loop. I've seen that same deer 12-13 times this year. He might die before it's all said and done with. He's salmon shirt worthy...

Yeah, if I would of shot any of the bucks I've seen while on stand this year I probably wouldn't have broken 20 points and that's having it on TC too boot..... rotflmao Oh and none of these bucks really have been in a good enough position (out of my comfort zone) too shoot at rotflmao

Awesome stuff guys! Can't wait for the niece to get here. Truck is warming up. Planning on hitting woods around 10. Be there until dark on a hardcore travel corridor! cha-ching!

Today is my little sisters birthday and the 11th has given me some of the best hunts of my career while hunting behind the house. The last 3 hunts here produced 21 deer and one shooter I'd be happy to tag. I've been here since 6:30 and have no seen a deer or even a squirrel. If the Lord decided He wanted to piss me off, He is doing a great job.

My fortune cookie at Hibachi last night read: Your faith will carry you through difficult times. Well, I can't say I have a whole lot of faith in much right now. This is retarded...
