Thanks guys. Wish I would've taken a picture of this set when I put it up. It's on one of the trails coming into a main "hub" in the woods. I barracaded the edges of the trail with some limbs to force them through the path of the snare. Seemed to work just as I'd hoped. Just took a little while for one to come strolling through. Based on the tracks I found tonight, it wouldn't surprise me if I have another one caught in the next few days.

Jim how high off the ground are the bottom of your snares?
I like to put mine no higher than 8 inches,ya might catch a few more coons but the yotes wont duck under.
Most are 8-10 inches. But this one is in a ditch crossing, going up one side. So my guess is the yote was already crouching down due to the slope and the cattails. I went ahead and lowered it just a tad. Hopefully I get that sucker the next time he comes through there.

Boom. Another one bites the dust boys! Got this one on the adjacent trail, just 10 ft from where I got yesterday's.
