Just some pics from the weekend

Took my son out on Sunday to scout a new spot and hang our new SpyPoint camera. Then we went to another farm to swap out memory cards on the other camera. Good times spent out there with my little guy. We put on some miles through the scattered showers, and he hung in there the whole time. Actually, I think he wore me out. He still is unrelenting with all the questions, and every time we crossed a spot with deer tracks he'd shout out & point, "Deer Tracks!"

Great pictures!! Holy cow is that one big friggin tree!! Any idea what kind it is?? I'm not real good with guessing types of trees.

I think it's a Sycamore tree, but I'm not too good on the tree ID thing either.

Definitely a sycamore tree, however the ones turning yellow on the left side of the pic remind me of a buckeye tree, so there may be one of those there too...Maybe you could show your son the buckeye nut and the pod it grows in.
