Pretty good day today with the Minnesota guys. Ended up with 31 fish with a large average. Back at it in the morning with a new group of guys.

Suicide bite this morning. Got 29 before getting blown off the lake at 11 am.
Got the next 2 days with some Wisconsin boys.

It was an absolute slaughter today. 30 fish by 1030. Back at it again tomorrow same guys.
Today was even better than yesterday. We boxed our 30th fish at 952 this morning despite the cold front. 42 degrees this morning and stiff west wind.

Forgot to post this picture yesterday but we caught them so fast I lost track of how many we had in the cooler so I had to throw them on the floor to count them to make sure we didn't go over.

These are all trolling fish. The jig fish are biting but the vast majority of the jig fish are 13 to 17 inchers right now.
Another northeast wind today which is becoming the predominant wind in Ohio in April apparently now. I hate NE winds on this lake. Weather is cold and waves are big. Regardless we had a good day with this group of beer drinkers including the one and only SWANTUCKY!!! We had alot of laughs as usual with Randy telling story after story.
Tough day on the lake yesterday after 2 days of hard East northeast blows. Wind did a complete 180 degree flop yesterday while fishing and finally came out of the southwest mid day. The fish were very finicky for us. Had several fish short strike and not get hooked. Still a pretty good day overall. Its easy to get spoiled on this lake.
Going through my monthly bills for the month of April. This is depressing. Fuel for just the boat in the month of April was $1481.62!!!!

I dont have those numbers with me now but I have 2020 numbers when Trump was in office. From April all the way thru August that year I burned $2034.77 in fuel in 4 months! Now I'm on track to pass that in less than 2 months.

There's a balance between covering costs and still maintaining customers. Either way someone is taking a hit.
