With the perfect summer weather we have been having some buddies and I decided to go after walleye instead of sitting in a deer stand watching nothing. November 8th...one of the best deer hunting days of the year in my opinion and I'd rather be fishing. Had a great trip. Fished between cedar point and huron. Had alot of action running bandits 120 to 140 feet back. Ended the morning with a cooler full of 4 to 6 pound fish. Unbelievable fishery we have and what a beautiful day!

Don't know anything about bass. I did see a few guys casting along the rocks. Plenty of people on the water the last few days.

Walleye season will be here before you know it. My calendar is filling up steadily with charters. Here is what I currently have available on weekends between April and June for anyone wanting a trip. This year will be one of the best ever based on the average size of walleye and the huge numbers of available fish.

April- 3,4,10,11,24,25
Most of April is jig fishing. Last year was phenomenal and this year should be even better.

May- 2, 9, 23,29
May is trolling crankbait time and the water temp is just warm enough those walleyes absolutely slam those crank baits.

June- 13, 20, 26, 27
June we are usually pulling spoons and jets and the bite is suicidal. 12 to 18 fish per hour is not uncommon.

I can also do trips during the week if I know in advance.

Thanks guys!
