Finally pulled the trigger. I’d never rode one before. Damn….these things are a freaking blast! Even with no power, it’s not a horrible pedal at all. 28 mph top speed, cadence and torque sensors, 750 w…can’t wait for the delivery.
I would never attempt to ride an e-bike for the purposed for which I own one, on narrow tires. It's probably fine for nice lease roads and flat fields, but it would be treacherous in my neck of the woods.

I'm referring to tall tires vs. short tires, not fat tires.
A standard mountain bike that has 29" tires will ride smoother than a standard mountain bike with 24" tires. Taller tires will go over bumps, rocks, sticks, etc. with less issues.
