Had a Yellow Lab for 12 years and the first couple I wanted to get rid of her every other day.... Every day was something new and bizarre lol..... That was one screwed up pooch... Then around the two year mark a switch flipped and poof a completely differant dog..... from then on out she was a dream.... I miss the hell out of her.... Her name was Sage and I'm going to get another when I retire so I have more time to offer it..... Below are my two pride and joys... Penny and Katy, Penny's 8 and Katy is 5 and they are two hard working fun loving hounds not the best out there but they give it their all and can't ask for any more than that....

Red bone, and she looks older than she is because of the coloring lol... She's going on 8.... Penny is her name.... Does your Lab have a lot of oil in his coat???? How big he at 9 months? Sage was arounf 55 lbs.... She was on the small side and out of hunting stock... Loved to retrieve and she would point at stuff too....

Here is my 22 month old black lab Ruger.

Sorry for more than just one or two picks...just love the little guy. I hope to get into waterfolw and or upland to actually work with him beyond training.

Wish the last pick was better cause we walked up on a doe who is about 40 yards over his back.

This is Jake the beagle. He has the desire to hunt but he doesn't get hunted as much as he should. He has only had a handful killed in front of him.

I used to have pictures of him hunting but they were on a different computer.

This is Bailey the fattest yellow lab in south east ohio:smiley_crocodile:
She hates everything except for food. She doesn't like to be petted and acts annoyed if she has to do anything. She is definitely not out to please anyone.

I think you guys have seen Hank. I posted one with him on point, and a couple of the bucks he found this year, as well as just a picture of him sitting. He is the German Shorthaired pointer. Then we have Brutus the Boxer. He is the watchdog. If someone pulls in, he has one heckuva bark to let us know. I should probably add the Brutus picture is from one of the Gun porn threads.

Not the best photo but here is King, he's 12 now and arthritis has slowed him down. He's big but not fat, 125 pounds, that doesn't help the arthritis but neither did running him over with a tractor when he was younger.

I've had black labs since I was a kid, always said if you don't shoot 'em in the first 2 years they will become good dogs. I also can't imagine having a lab without having large acres and water, the pup would go nuts.

Here are some pics of Bella. She just turned 3 and is the laziest dog I've ever seen.. She is superb at hunting biscuits, rawhide's, and a warm place to nap. The dog will eat ANYTHING including vegetables like lettuce, garlic, and even those Jalapeno slices in a jar..

This dog gets up in the morning. Goes out to take a piss, comes in and grabs a quick drink of water and some dog food.. Then right back to bed. She may get up around 11 and go out again then come in and chew her rawhide for 30 minutes or so. I frequently find her passed out sleeping with the rawhide still in her paws.. She get somewhat active in the evening for about an hour going outside to run around in the snow etc.. But she's always out like a light by 10:00pm..

All I have here at work is cell pics. But i have some funnier ones at home.
