Are you insinuating he’s blowing smoke? That he’s never intended to actually shoot a deer with that lever action? Hell he might as well hand it down to someone who’d probably do the same….. You know, someone like who’s been looking for one….. That’ll never shoot a deer with it…. 🙄

I wonder if you are talking about an old friend of mine...about my height, 350 pounds and a total asshole.

So my circa 1957 Marlin 336 in 35 Rem is being refitted with a large loop lever and a Holosun 507 green dot for going in after the big ones in the hellholes they seem to prefer. I love stalking deer in thickets wearing wool which is virtually silent. Now that I am 70 pounds lighter I can return to this method, but I plan to drop another 40 pounds if I can for a total of 110 pounds and that puts me back at my high school weight of 185lbs. That's where I wrestled, played football, baseball and water polo at. We'll see!

I'll post a picture when the gun is finished.
