Well looks like some Kansas deer meat should hit the dinner table this year. A good friend, my two boys and myself got picked. HELL YEAH! This will be my first time hunting Kansas.

We going on private. We leased a few acres 400 something. Ain’t stepped on it yet. Will go in July and set up some cams and stands

We out here on the river w Hunter, got two boats, Pearl and the wife. Gonna run them once with hunter then big out. We have plans to run noodles/jugs in the morning.

Ran the lines one time and caught 4 flats and one blue. Hunter staying out to run one more time then again in the morning. The wife had a blast. Figured she would as she’s an outdoor woman, country girl if you will.

We good thanks for checking up on me. Rain hasn’t been too bad and wind has been not much to mention. High tide is now and won’t be going down w the se winds piling it up. Tonight should get worse, more flooding and more wind. When the eye passes us all the water on the other side of the lake will pile on us and significant water will be on our roads and some low lying homes. Nothing that we haven’t seen or dealt with before, only getting worse w each storm of the same caliber. Neighborhoods that has never flooded now floods.
I had to go to work to Aline the troops. We stood up some 5 tons and humvees.
