Just got the girls on ice.
Set up on a low area between two palmetto ridges. Was about to get down and heard some palmettos moving. Stood up and I could make out what I thought was a 60# hog, then I seen some babies and thought “good deal a sow)! They worked there way towards the mud/watering hole. Another 60# was in tow. First one gave me a shot at 30 yards and hit the release. Arrow hit back and pigs went away from me but the guy shot one came back towards me 20 yards in the palmettos w no shot. Then the other sow came back in an opening near the hole and busted that one. Minute later the first hog gave me another shot and I let it fly. Both hogs were found less than 40 from my tree. Donated 2 arrows but that’s the cost of killing hogs most times. Both was around 120# give or take.
