View to the South & view to the North - Deer Bedroom:

I've been back out since shortly after the rain stopped @1:00 pm.
Wind changed to the opposite direction from this morning, now from the West with increased intensity.
I got settled in @1:30 and at the moment, my neighbor's dog just started barking, which is a good indication that deer may be on the move, either towards or away from me.
They live near the creek 'TOO' and their dog has yet to fail me when he starts barking.
Anyhow, good luck 'TOO' Hunters!
The 'GOOD': I realize now that I can hunt this particular setup that's above the deer bedding area with both a Northeast & a West Southwest wind
The 'BAD': No buck showed up again today or at least one that I could tell.
I did however have five deer in the immediate area that I did see within the Honeysuckles and I believe their were more that I couldn't see, including a buck I do believe.
Much like yesterday, @4:30 a couple of antlerless deer popped up out of their beds to my Northeast, approximately 30 yards away.
One of them kept looking back as if something pushed them out of their beds, perhaps a buck maybe.
I mentioned earlier that an eight point walked right by my stand just before I arrived earlier this morning and my TC captured him.
Most likely, it was him doing all the pushing. Anyhow, he's not a shooter in my book.
So the first two were up @4:30 and acted really skittish the entire time until quitting time and never made it out into the field behind me basically, except for one I think was headed there, but I spooked her away instead.
I got the 'LOOK'
My TC captured her 'TOO'. Shit, I still need to tun back the clock on it. Oh-well.
The more mature deer that I seen @5:30 were down at the creek bottom heading North slowly.
The last deer that I did see strutted like it might have been a buck, but I didn't get to see the head portion, just the front shoulders down to the ass.
Still no major rut action going on yet though.
For the past three seasons, the full rut has kicked off either on the 12th or 13th in my area. I expect this season to be no different'.
Until then, I'll keep a close tab on the ladies, just like I have been.
It's gonna be bitter cold & windy tomorrow fellas, so be prepared for it!
Have a great Friday evening 'TOO"ville!
I'll be back at it once again tomorrow morning
