Settled back in for the evening.

This morning I seen just that one buck @6:45 & 2 Does @8:45 unharassed.

I got down @10, ate some breakfast, then got into some wood work, in the creek bottom, pretty much where I'm hunting for the week.

I needed to create some clearing for me and the deer for easier travel.

The deer use the creeks around our place as thier highway basically, especially when the hunting pressure gets to be 'TOO' much for them.

So, I broke out the saw & leaf blower for about 3 hours and cleared a beautiful lane straight to my tree ;)

I also wanted to do this as a better route to my stand and not be seen or tracked by deer if I can help it.

After blowing out the leaves, you can clearly see the deer tracks once again.

Now I'll be in stealth mode getting to & from my stand.

No more leaf crunching, at least for a couple of days anyways.

Here is one example of several that I cleared out within the creek this afternoon.

The photo below shows the creek bank that I climb to get to my stand for now on.

You can see my stand in the thickest tree to the right.

The bottom photo I just took moments ago from where I am sitting right now.

BTW, my house is like 250 yards from me, so I also have the pleasure of staying connected to my personal Internet Wi/Fi Network, which is real nice.

Anyways, thought I'd continue sharing my hunts and what I've been up to with you all.

Good luck this evening & have fun out there!

Nice work. Are you not worried about all that racket and the timing of doing it all right smack in the middle of the season?

Nope, not at all.

I do this every year for past five years during the hunting season and it doesn't phase them in the least bit.

Sometimes I get see them while I'm out cutting wood, just yards away.

The regulars always try to pattern me around here every year.

You'd be amazed the games that we play, trying to fool each other.

It's been fun! :)
