Skunked again tonight. Slow day today. 6 hunters and we only saw 1 deer today. Good thing was it was a 140+ buck out cruising. Tomorrow is another day!
7 total, 2 small bucks. Nothing rut related too report 
Came home to steak and scallops for dinner.... Now that’s a great finish too a good day.....

1 lone doe. 6.5 hours of sitting. Doe was chased off by 3 dogs, which I’ve never seen. Not happy! Wonder what else they’re chasing!?

Skunk too. Coyote was around this morning. Came up to me 20 yd, he almost was about to get shot but he left quickly
Had a stud 8 point bedded with a doe at 90 yards for over 30 minutes. A small buck came in and got them moving. The doe was headed straight for me through the field with him following until she cut the other direction at 75 yards. Fugg!

Athens. Athens / Morgan line. Pulled chips on way out tonight. 3 different bucks and 6-8 does through this morning. But I wasn’t home from work until 10. Tomorrow?
Slipped out late this afternoon about 1.5 hours before dark. Had 2 mature doe and small doe and bb walk under me 30 minutes in then heard my first grunts of the year shortly afterwards. It ended up being a young 6-8 point out dogging and harassing the females. Had shots at all 5 deer tonight so I had a nice sit without the mess...
Hunting in SE Ohio with my bro the next 3 days. Hope we have some luck but just being able to hunt together and have fun chasing deer is as good as it gets.
