Long sleepless night for me. Had that big doe come in just like she was on a string. Hit her to far forward. Let her sit 40 minutes, found two pools of blood then the blood stopped. When it's light enough I'll go back.

Good luck finding him Alex and Joe. 5" of penetration sounds to me like it bounced off of the opposite shoulder, so he should be hurting pretty bad.

My buddy and I went out this morning. Got here a few minuets behind. When we got to the field we saw two bucks eating. One is a nice shooter the other one gets a pass. Haven’t seen anything but a raccoon since but it’s been a good morning.

Well just saw a good buck again, might be same from yesterday. Closest he got was 60 yards through some thick pines. I can’t recall another year seeing bucks like this, this early so I’m tickled about that.

Welp getting down to wrap up hunt soon. Had three more deer come through actually lost count but we’ll over 10 deer and a good buck. Best start to a deer season ever for me at least.

Going to let this farm chill for a couple weeks. Be back when timing is primo.
