LIVE from the stand 2018-19

I slow hunted/pushed a property today, I got to the bottoms and could see two doe one standing and one bedded. The one standing was a yearling and the one bedded was a big ol fat nanny. I sat there for 10 minutes and she got up. I took my time shot and she fell over like a sack of shit. Back legs folded up and she flipped over legs in the air twitching. I finished and we went back to get her and she was gone. I was speechless to say the least. 6 feet of snow disturbed and blood but no deer. Wtf...... Best I can tell I must have hit her high and put her in shock for a while and it wore off and she got up. We tracked her till she crossed the raging creek to a property we are not alloud on.

Congratulations to the successful hunters . Good luck to those that are out .

Brock.....I know you enjoy the experience and all but would you just kill something already . Pheasant season is gonna go out before I get my promised pheasant hunt at this goddamn rate .

I had a chance to kill a doe last night and this dog came out of nowhere and spooked up the doe. It was a chocolate lab and she's pregnant. I texted owner about it. He said it's the other property's dog that roams around. Fuck. Will go back out Thursday try again

Yeah sure, if something with appropriate head gear came along. I will be back to bird hunting next week. Deer are about to lose their priority ranking.

Irresponsible pet owners letting their dog roam around anytime, but during gun week is a special kinda stupid....

Good luck Thursday, BC....

Thanks. Yeah got me worried because of coyotes that I know at least one or two that are around that property.

They weren’t moving on their own this morning. I got in bed with them for a short while and managed to see a doe and bumped another. Hoping to catch them feeding didn’t work this morning
