Muskrats or Coyotes that have started to turn green (they turn fast with any heat at all) are the worst. When your own farts are bad....They're BAD!

Got warm out ! I'm done. Nothing more seen. Two shots rang maybe 500 yards out earlier, but there was no anticipation of anything coming my way. That was the only nearby shots of the week. The deer have no idea it's gun season & that excites me for next week. I have to work the weekend. Good luck fuggers.
No deer were harmed in the making of this adventure.

Pulled my card on the way to the blind. STILL no day time pics, but twenty minutes later it's a Fuckin doe buffet.
Someone down the road has opened their gun cabinet and is emptying their stick pile of ammo. And Kevin, there's a leaf blower goin just up the road the other direction. Ugh

Hunted for about two hours this morning, then headed home, ate breakfast and grabbed the chainsaw.
I cut, split & stacked wood all afternoon while the weather was still decent.
Now I'm finishing up my day where I started.
Maybe this time I'll get lucky!

Yes, I had two encounters last week.
They're starting to make a comeback in this area recently.

Fuck deer hunting. 4500 pics on the cam since Sunday evening. Nothing over 100” and only a family of 4 doe that frequent the scene.
Lots of shooting on adjacent lands but I was the only hunter on our 250 acres. Only saw one deer as I drove onto the property this afternoon. Couldn’t make it the rest of the week.
