We ended up seeing 9 deer between Saturday and today. Only hunted a half day per day. Saw 8 of the 9 on Saturday including 1 buck, but my son could get a shot. Surprising we didn't see more deer today as there was a bunch of sign where we were at. Did find a shed (4 points on one side)./
What you see, is what I got
Skunked, haven’t seen a deer in 2 days. Tomorrow my luck may change...

Seen nothing else...Drew was across the hill from me and seen a decent buck, small doe and a red fox. We are missing work and school tomorrow and gonna give it one final push....about done with them...our beagles are getting restless and its bunny time!
I got skunked. Probably all laid down...had 3 different neighbors shooting guns today~~Damn Nice Weather!
Land owner called last night to tell me coyotes were yipping within a couple hundred yards. Maybe I'll try Wednesday. Hopefully they are still in the area.

We got it done tonight. Youngest was on stand with me. Was awesome he stopped the buck. The trophy was the experience. He’s ecstatic! Small buck, meat in freezer and didn’t hurt our doe herd (needs to grow). Field to table, 2 hours, back straps and tenderloin for dinner.

Missed one of our shooters that still has both sides this am at less than 50 yds. No clue what happened, clean miss. It's not the end of the world but enough to make me ready to be done for the season. He was chasing a small doe and I believe it was the same one Drew seen chasing yesterday..
