7:15 a.m., I had a young 6 pointer @10yards in front of me. I passed him up. He was the only deer I seen this morning, which I believe he's the same one I saw yesterday afternoon @3:30.
I’m thirty yards from my truck, watching the farm lane we usually drive back to pick up dead deer. A lot of deer cross this lane, maybe the right one will cross it tonight....but I doubt it. At least it’s a short walk out at dark.
Wish that sun would appear up here in the NE part of the state. Been seriously overcast the entire week. Twice now I’ve had deer in a field with 20 minutes left of legal light light and can’t pick them vitals out in the scope. Thinking of pitching that thing for next season. I like this Vortex but not happy with the light gathering in low light conditions.
