If I were home...plenty, but I’m not home...got nothing else to do. Heard three different trees fall so far. It wouldn’t be bad if the gusts stopped.

Here, I'll give you something to do to kill time. You're pretty good at identifying weird shit like this. Tell me WTF this thing is. It's roughly an inch in a half long and at least 3/8 of an inch thick. I have no clue. He is a big MF'er! BTW, be careful in those windy woods today!

Questioning my sanity sitting all day today. The wind is terrible. Haven’t seen a deer yet and don’t think they will move with this much wind. Was thinking if wind dies down last hour of daylight that they would be on their feet but weather app isn’t clear on when the gusts will stop....only give sustained winds.
Just keep the wind there...

Had does and younguns all around me from 4-7:15 when I finally got to climb down. Couple gray squirrels nearby also had me locked down them lil dirty bastards! Had tons of great shot ops on all 5 deer which was good. Planning on going back out in morning if weather cooperates. Lots of standing dead ash where I’m hunting so if it’s windy I’ll sit it out. Couple pics from tonight.

The tree I’m in in the dark triple trunk maple in background on far right in the TC pics. The bb in first and last pics has a tumor or puss sack on his brisket. Swings and jiggles when he walks.
That might be EHD. Hopefully not, but that’s not a good sign seeing that below the neck like that.
