Arrrrrrrgh had a big buck come by and the fox was strolling by and buck took off. 5 min later one fork horn came by for 10 min and left. Going back at it again tomorrow.

Had two decent does and two fawns come in, then a small basket rack just after last light. Then the property owner pulled in and I texted him to come drive thru the field. If not I'd still be there, one of them Bitches stared me down for a good ten minutes. Told him to let me know if he wants meat, she'll die.

View attachment 112735. Another adrenaline night. It's very suspenseful hearing deer come through standing corn at close yardages. Only a spike a bb came through. But Wylie coyote came through at the end. I took 50 ud shot. Sucker ran back into the corn. Low phone battery. So I'm trecking back out....n a bit

Heading out behind my FIL’s house in a bit for my first morning hunt of the season. Not expecting to see a shooter but you never know. Just excited to at least be in the game and not stuck at work.
Got a feeling some guys here are going to let one fly at some good ones. Pick a spot and focus and be sure to send a ball sack pic to Giles so he can share it in a IKS thread.

No artifical light neeeded for me this morning. Already have two antlerless within 70 yards of me. An adult doe & young one.

3 big boys following a doe just out of range. Hope they circle back. Would have shot any one of them. No interest in grunts or snort wheeze

Out for the first sit of the year. Found a nice stump to sit on for the morning. Seen 5 so far 1 being a solid shooter. The others where before legal shooting light. 1 was a yearling that got to within 5 steps of me.

What a morning. One doe at daybreak. Doe with twins at sunrise. Then one buck came in...then a second. Then a third. Then a 4th. All with 50 yards of each other. First two came in range but weren’t shooters. Last two were too far out and were following doe out of range. No interest in grunts. Last was probably the biggest deer I’ve ever seen in the wild.
