@Spencie isn't that a double edged sword? Now you watched him spread those genetics. I'll tell ya what, I would do him justice by putting him on the other side of the window next to my short tined 21. Deal? 🤣

Edit: adding pic
The only way I could have stopped that is to yell at him. He will be a cool wide giant next year even if his tones aren’t long. The local genetics are wide but short tines. My favorite genetic trait is long tines. Not sure killing one is going to make a difference.

A good thing about short tines is that you can fit them in more places. 🤣

Good luck man, you always show some amazing pictures and dedication to kill exactly what YOU want. Don't ever change being you!

It’s a disease. Especially when things are slow. Makes you question your motives. But days like today are awesome. I saw 2 one year olds, two 2 year olds, 3 three year olds and 2 four year olds. That’s a pretty good day in southeast Ohio.
I don’t kill too much lol. Well except for turkeys.... they deserve to die.

Dad dicked up! Had a nice 2.5 year old 8pt come out 200yrds away. He came down right to us but was sneaky in some standing corn. But I managed to reposition my son to a different side window of the tower blind. I had to lift him on the bar stool to achieve this. I told him exactly where the deer was going to be......he came down the trail and I stopped him with the ole Mep! My boy fires! Bolt tracked perfectly left and right but I watch it just slip underneath the deers chest. I had to find the bolt to actually make sure it didn't blow through him. I knew the distance was just on the edge of to far for the first crosshair 35yrds. I should have told him to hold up alittle bit. He started crying as the deer bounded off. I reassured him he did everything right it's dads fault.....we found the muddy bloodless bolt and walked out. We did have a stair off with this deer a few hundred yrds away while walking out. Dad messed it up.
