I had a giant at 70ish yards. He came into sight about 515 100 yards away ripping up a small birch tree (he's bedding north central part of the woods), he started tailing a doe hard wanted nothing to do with grunts or a snort wheeze. If he beds in the same spot and with the north wind tomorrow afternoon, I should have a good chance to close the distance. If i would have put my climber in the same area as years past he would be dead, I could kick myself, the way the deer move in this wood is so random.

Damn wind got one of my best rut stands last night. Moved some cams and worked on drywall tonight was bummed when I walked 3/4 mile back to find that.
I lost about $600 in setups to fallen trees in one year a few years back. A millennium 2 man and a muddy hang on. Just glad I wasn’t in either one at the time.

You guys are dedicated.... Boogie and Spencie let's do January so we don't sweat so bad in the process but I know a good farm where the beef cows produce every year. It'll never disappoint and will fill our freezers. I can even attach antlers to make it exotic
On that Veterans hunt this past weekend we were told, by the owner, that there was a black angus bull on the loose, that it had been on the loose for about a year. Shoot on sight, they wanted it dead. Even had pics of it in front of one of the blinds. No one saw it during the hunt to my knowledge.

Rough go getting in this morning. Saw the first buck that I would say is a no doubter while I was fencing yesterday. He was pushing a doe through a thicket. I have a stand in a funnel a couple hundred yards from where I saw them. So I headed for it this morning but made a wrong turn and ended up in the middle of a thicket. Just a little sweaty but I’m set up and ready to go. Good luck guys!

Two unknowns chasing does before sun up this morning. Had one hung up behind me grunting and snort wheezing about thirty minutes ago as well. Never came down. Absolutely gorgeous morning sit but have a feeling this evening something may catch an arrow. Cell cam showed big boy locked up with a doe last night. Going to make it an early morning sit and readjust a stand. Hopefully I can get this guy dead in the next couple of days!

In again and what a wonderful feeling, cool air instead of balmy humidity in Nov.

Got a funnel/Pinchpoint going on here with a strip pond seperating two bedding areas...

...and that's the way its supposed to happen.. only bigger :ROFLMAO:👇

Little guy passed on the ridge, stopped at the licking branch, became target fixated at 20ydrs... and went on his way unmolested.
