Just those 2 small bucks this evening, heard a couple moving around one ridge over. At our second cabin for the second leg of our trip. Not sure where we’re hunting tomorrow morning yet, should be good with the conditions. Cold af currently and into the morning. Looks like a warm up at the end of the week. We’ll see.

Elected to sit behind the house in order to hunt what may be a ghost in the droptine buck. Assuming he's alive still, I can't kill him if I don't hunt here. It also gives the farm a little break. It's very crispy out here! It's also a textbook day for demonstrating how thermals work. It's like I have a vent hood turned on down here in this bottom!

Got in my thicket between the high grass and standing corn. 5 deer walked in the high grass already. Not expecting a shot in here. Will have to move back to the wood line as they like to follow the wood line next to the grass. Hardly any trees to get in there n the edges and wind dictating any setup that might be possible. A move is in store after this mornings hunt. Good luck y’all!
