I did do some comparing and still didnt take the shot. 1 year old or 2 year old. Who has the better genetics to breed these fawns?

I could've taken either one. They both suck for antlers, but the meat will taste just fine. Neither tripped my trigger today so they both lived. Tomorrow could be different. Damn whore could run off.

I feel bad posting that I seen 9 bucks this evening and 20 does after knowing some guys dont have many to hunt. My dad and uncle both shot nice bucks today. Hoping my nephew will get one tomorrow and ill keep trying to find the one im after I have a feeling ill be hunting well into January before that happens.

Motivation is growing towards hunting the house. The 7 point i passed a month ago looks pretty good today. He has been pestering fawns all night here on every camera. He just might be a perfect selection for the pistol. Gotta wait for the snow to start melting before attempting to sneak in. I have just never enjoyed hunting my own peice for some reason. Maybe its to corn, maybe its the blind...
