Saw one unidentified deer and/or dog in the middle of a field at last light but other than that it was a skunk

Ended up seeing 4 small bucks, all were seeking or chasing does. Saw 4 does, one I was going to shoot at 5pm until she took the wrong trail at 25 yards and got behind some briars. Had a yote come through at 11am, 50 yards behind me.

I climbed down early, got sick and tired of the wind and another nice size black oak hit the ground about 60 yards from me (scared the shit out of me lol). I saw a red fox that was it.

Skunked again. Maybe the deer in my area are gay so they don't need to chase.

I buck, 3 doe 3 fawns. Nothing acted like there was any rut. Bumped a few more in the dark on the way out, they were just feeding.

Saw 1 spike all day... FIL missed an 8 this evening. BIL saw a tank dogging a doe. He hadn't climbed into tree yet and the deer had the slip on him... No shots. He did see chasing. Back at it in the am!

Great night! All the fun and none of the mess.

Major chasing the last hour. Multiple shot opportunities just not the ones I wanted. Had to have someone drive back the field just so I could get out of the stand.

Sounds like a good night Charles. I've had to do that for my dad several times this year already.

Big shooter at 7:20 this morning. That I am still scratching my head over then one decent 2 year old right before dark. I hunted from daylight to 10:30 then 2:30 to dark. One dink I there as well this morning.

File mine under "totally boring". Logged 9 hours and had a shit ton of squirrels and one mink. There is no rut

Hello gents! I'm back! Sat in my tower stand tonight, no deer. Did see three 130"+ deer bothering a doe last night. Tomorrow morning should be frosty and perfect! Good luck guys!

Had an up and comer 9 react well to grunting and got to watch him chase over the open pasture.
He came within 45 yards. In the one pic below he spotted a doe behind him and went nuts.

I saw 6 bucks and 7 does today. The biggest was a 130 8 point and the rest were little. The best part was I saw my first bobcat!

Now this doesn't happen EVER!!! Congrats on the encounter but to get a pic of it that close is quite the accomplishment!
