Worked all day. Called the wife and told her I'd be home at dark. Sitting in my tree house with 17hmr in hand. Poor acorn crop this year in my woods has left my squirrel hunting over here a little bleak for the season. Still a beautiful evening to be out here. Good luck Rick and Mike.

Had 4 doe coming in. Got to 50 yards and mama got downwind. She didn't like my stinky ass I guess. One blow and started to circle around below me but they wandered off across the creek.

Settled in about 20 minutes ago. Hung a stand on the backside of the same tree I was busted in last Sunday. Downwind of bedding/doe central.... Still awaiting antlers.
Had a great year for seeing deer, just NO mature bucks yet.
Hopefully luck changes soon....

Came to dump corn and get Camera chip. Got in stand for 20 minutes or so. Been little over an hour..Looks like a BC doe 3:00 heading this way.....hmmmmm
