Dandy buck Teenbowhunter. Bummer he is not around for you to hunt. Never know what to think when it comes to family. Could be legit. We only hear part of the story most times.

Ya I'm not questioning the legitimacy, just feel bad for the LO, he was pretty upset when he saw the picture. He had no idea. He's always been a very sweet guy to me and I was a little bummed that the guy did that to him, not something I'm trying to get involved in though.

It's those people that will ruin it for everyone else, that's terriable he did that let alone to family. I would just keep your opinions but about it unless the LO brings it up, all you can do is keep doing what you're doing and hopefully you will catch a break.

I'm home now, gotta sleep before work. I had an easy 10 yard shot on a doe but I didn't want to paint the snow red with her blood. Never did see a buck, but I couldn't see past 75 yards in either direction cause of the damn snow so one could of slipped through.

Sorry that I've been away from this thread awhile as lots of good and not so good stuff has been happening! First a foremost a huge congrats to BluespruceOF on the healthy bundle of joy he and his bride had recently!

Sorry to hear that lockdown is still rearing its ugly head in TOOville and teenbowhunters bad news of that massive stud being killed out from under him recently!

Keep hitting it as much as y'all can and these bucks have to start moving more sooner or later! Good luck! Enjoy hunting in this snow!

I think I said yesterday I was going to take a week off. Scratch that, going back out for the last couple hours of daylight today. I love blood trails in the snow. Didn't see any movement last night and then we had a snow storm all night so hoping they will be up moving around this evening. If not, oh well! Got off earlier than expected so we'll see.

Hunted this area twice this weekend but 100 yds away. Both times 9 does came through with young bucks. Tonight I've slipped in and gotten closer. Just had a buck come right by as I was typing.

Couldn't make it till 530. Froze. I Did see 2 doe and 1 small buck. He was cruising and went after the 2 doe. The Knot on my lifeline froze and I had a heck of a time getting it to slide down tree. Gonna sit in a blind with a heater in the morning.
