Slept in. Took the gun for a walk around 9:00. Found a nice log to sit on for about an hour then walked back home. Getting ready to take Klay out for one final try.
Did have a momma and button walk right up to me. Momma got within 5 yards before turning inside out. Lol

Well I got permission to track across the property, but not to carry my gun along just in case. I tracked from 8ish to 11ish following tiny drops of blood with a little fat and white hair mixed in. At 11:30 my buddy showed up to help and we tracked till 1:30 and jumped her. She took off and limped just a little bit but she really didn't look hurt bad.

Beautiful spot to sit. Took a long slow walk. Didn't kick up anything. Basically a big loop. Now I am just enjoying the evening behind a huge downed tree. Watching a field and thicket where deer tend to pop out of.

Just had a doe, fawn, and 2 yo buck walk past me to toward my buddy and his kids 400 yards away. Hoping to hear "boom" soon.
