Thanks guys! It was a great hunt even I wasn't planning on being the shooter. She got to see the whole thing play out and even see what it feels like to look at one up close through the scope with your finger on the trigger guard.
She was thrilled and I think a little relieved she didn't pull the trigger. She says she's ready for the next one and we still have a little time.
I'm happy we got to share it together, glad I made a good shot, and happy it was a button buck and not a doe. Good times.

Thanks guys! We're still excited here. I'm taking the day off to cut it up myself this time. I just got off the phone with the local meat shop and they will grind whatever meat I bring in for 40 cents a pound. Haven't cut one up myself in probably 5 years so this should be fun.
