I have a corn pile a good distance away from where I am sitting and there are a multitude of squirrels all sitting around it like a dinner table.

Well saw 3 bucks so far, all shooters in my book. All on a mission, mouth open, sniffing around. All of them walked right behind me at 35 yards, problem was that they are on property I can't hunt due to land owner being a big a hole. But ran over to my neighbors house where all 3 deer came strolling from gave me the okay after 3 years to finally let me hang a stand on his property and said get after them so I'm gonna do just that. Problem is the only place where I can hang a stand is litterly 5 yard off the path that they come down or I can hang one 20 yards off that path where I would have a 10 yard window to shoot at a buck if it came cruising by. Which would you do, hang one right on the path or 20 yards off and try and stop them in the window of 10 yards?

All in all a good sit. Ended up seeing two buttons and a yearling. At one point they were all three there together chasing each other around and posturing up. It was pretty amusing

Set up on the backside of a swamp, creek 5 yards behind me, wind from the left to the right.... Any normal deer would come from my right against the wind..... Nope, doe, 5 yards from (I'm sitting on the ground) me, stops in my shooting lane looks around, takes 2 steps and looks around.... Turns and eyeballs me.... Walks back to my shooting lane and turns into it.... Now I'm thinking how's this going to go down???? Bust me and take off or walk up to me and give it a sniff.....
Did the head bob a couple times and then relaxed, raised her right rear leg and scratched her right ear.... Got done turned around and walked off the way she was going.... No buck in tow..... Fuggin deer are idiots!!!! Just when you think you've seen it all they up and prove you wrong lmao.....

Had one of my shooters at 30 yards tonight. I didn't think it was him coming out so I didn't draw. Once he popped out of the thick stuff I realized who it was and it was too late. Couldn't get drawn and shoot before he was out of clear range. Happy to know he is still there as he has avoided cameras for 3.5 weeks.

Good luck on getting him
