I had a doe spook at the sight of my ground blind this morning. She was around 100 yds away and bolted as soon as she saw it. No chance at a shot.

Put on a few drives today and managed to move some deer around. One kid with us got a nice 6 point on the first push. A huge 8 point started to come out but he circled back around, never to be seen again. Amazing how they do that.

On our final drive we pushed about 10-12 does out of a thicket. I dropped one doe at about 70 yards just before she got to the dike and my buddy got one too when they swung around toward him. 4 separate drives and 3 deer killed... Not too shabby.

Saw 4 tonight. BB, 6-point, solid P&Y 3 year old 10 point and a mature, tall, tight, heavy buck with a split G2 and broken tines that obviously has the same genes at my 2008 buck. He's got 2 holes in him right now, but the will to live. Might be a long night. Momma ain't happy with herself. And K was asleep the whole time! lmao
