Thank you Jon for sharing with us again. As I see Garrett filled with excitement as opening weekend approaches, I am so pumped up it is crazy. Haven't been this excited for deer season in a long time. I have one prospect on my radar. If I don't kill that deer, I don't care. Nurturing the enthusiasm Garrett has right now is my only goal (outside of being safe and enjoying it obviously). I appreciate this thread coming to life again. I need to pull the Honor Conner bracelet off my quiver and attach it to Garrett's crossbow for the weekend. We will have him with us for the weekend in spirit and in conversation.

Now please excuse me. . . .Reading your post got "my allergies" worked up. You are in my thoughts and prayers today.

Jon, you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Conner also rides with me on my Mathews every time I take it to the woods.

I too am touched by your post Jon. Thoughts and prayers to you and your family. Just know he's looking down smiling as you go afield! I moved my bracelet from my bow to Ricks xbow today before me and Karissa headed out this afternoon.
Look on the front of the xbow....

Good luck this season!

Honor Connor

It's hard to believe. Two years ago today Theresa and I had our lives changed forever. We are making it through. Today will be a day of reflection on all the memories and joys Connor brought us. I would give anything in the world to give him a hug or hear his laugh. I know though that he is with me everyday and I will see him again.

Love you Connor. You still make us proud.

Your whole Family has never left our thoughts. Can't tell you how many times I think about you and Dales situation. Hanging in there is just what a family member would want you to do.
