Maumee River PRE-RUN CELEBRATION 2015

Buddy showed me a pic on his phone of his buddy that had four nice size walleyes and what appeared to be two striped bass. Not white bass. I was like those are stripers. Said he caught them yesterday. On the maumee but don't know the spot where they fished.

Had him send me the pic. This is from Thursday. 6805.jpeg

Lmao the guy that I got the pic from has another buddy that caught fish also. I need to get some waders so I can get down there and try it. I feel your pain Giles as I will be going back to work here pretty quick and our shop is at sidecut park so everyday on the way to one of our jobs I will get to see everyone fishing. With the warm weather next week that river is going to be packed with people. No ice to deal with this year either. Think I'll head up to basspro and check out the waders lol.

They aint legit from the maumee recently. Only a few walleye being caught right now. Aint nobody getting a white bass for a few weeks at the earliest, probably 2nd week of April. Let alone numerous white bass. So whoever sent that pic is bullshitting you guys.

I have April 8th as the date I should be cleared to do normal activities, AKA fishing

Never underestimate fish lol

I would be utterly shocked if someone caught a WB within the next 3 weeks, let alone a handful of them. There are also 2 different year class of walleye there. Usually, the first wave of fish are all big ones. Three of those walleye are the cookie cutters that show up last week of March, first of April, and are what get caught the most. The First eye taken to the bait shop this year appeared to be a 5lb male, which are what you see alot of earlier

Those aren't even white bass, which is even more amazing. I say that because they have broken horizontal lines.

Sorry about that but i think cabin fever is making me a little cranky lol. And everybody knows that fisherman are the most honest people around so there should be no dought lmao!!!!
