Dang Jeff! Sorry to hear but like Big Weff said, thank goodness you weren't hunting with it or holding it at the time! Good luck this season!
Its made by "Velocity", the model is "Armageddon" ( Love the name ). It is a bad azz X-bow. Always shot a compound but getting up there in years and just want to make life easier hunting. I can shoot my compound like no other, my brother always said sell your guns and shoot your bow, lol. Just a disappointing start. Had a doe that I could had nailed with the X-bow but she was watching me and could not draw back with the compound.
Figured I would give today a "cool down" and hit it tomorrow morning. Going to pick up the X bow this afternoon, shoot it to make sure all is good and hit it in the A.M.
That sucks. I coulda bagged a doe last Saturday. she came up 30 yard, put my pin on her, took the shot, she jumped like as of if there was a snake in ground that spooked her, lol. I went to ranged it in, it was an inch off under her belly, from where she almost got hit. after she walked away slowly, the mom comes out to follow her. Daggum, she was a big un' pornstar doe. I'm like where the hell have you been. If I had waited 10 mins I would have had her at 20 yards, but daggum tree was in the way. Good thing is I still have a tag so I'll be using it on her

Back out again. Fugg sweating like a freaking hog. Over dressed and that doe will smell me a mile away.

fugg the rain! I'm rooting for ya to kill something!! one of my dad's buddies works construction and got rained out of work on a Friday...so he said fugg it, might as well hunt, went out with his crossbow and killed a nice 8 pt. in the rain...in a pretty good steady rain too.
