Ha. I've only gone out with people a handful of times. enjoyed it when takeing folks to find their first shroom, but other then that it was a good reminder of why I enjoy the woods so much. No f'n people. lol

I enjoy the company of people who share like activities but there is a limit lmao....


 
So I made some time this morning between mowing and work...didn't pay off. Sure was a nice walk though. Felt bad going without the kids. Them lazy asses were all enjoying the first day of spring break by playing on tablets...sorta pissed me off so I didn't even tell them I went until I walked back up. They didn't like that I went without them. Maybe next time they will at least look up when I walk in the door. Time for some lunch and then I'm taking them away from them for the weekend, besides the road trip north and back. They are life savers in the car! Lol

I haven't found any yet. My neighbors have been finding blacks, not piles of them, but enough to keep them walking.

Going to take my 'going on' 3 year old niece to find her first morel tomorrow morning. Going to cut her loose in my best spot. They should be there!


 
Rolled in to Beverly for lunch today and saw a dude grab a camo backpack from his truck, so of course I was gawking. Noticed he grabbed a mesh bag too that was obviously full of mushrooms. Looked like he had a basketball shoved down in there, so he had a good day.
