I've only found a few morels on purpose in my life before today. Pretty pleased with my haul and for knowing I have a general area to file away for future searches.
Are these edible? I only find a couple of them every so often but my Dad did not know. Therefore we never even picked them. Caps are usually smooth.

Just picked a nice variety sack! Didn't make it far. Feel like my eyes have gone to shit the last year or two. Not good!

There was one obvious one. The others I almost stepped on, or found while sitting on my ass after almost stepping on one. Crazy how they hide so well. Still think I'm due for some glasses.

Probably poisonous Rick,but depends on what the underside of the top looks like.
They say the ones that look like fish gills underneath dont eat em.

Pulled about the same as I did yesterday. Couple bigger yellows. Had two big ass gobblers almost run me over. Not sure where they where going but they were boogying.
