Just the same as this year... have fun no matter what I'm doing. No more unrealistic goals of shooting only "this buck" or "that buck". The past two seasons, just having fun was my goal, and I never felt the burnout that had occurred in season's past. No pressure for anything, just have fun. If deer hunting becomes like a job then I stop & go duck hunting. If duck hunting isn't productive then I go deer hunting, if I felt like it. If I give up a weekend of hunting since scouting wasn't producing anything good and don't do anything but watch football, then so be it. Just have fun. I know that you can't kill 'em on the couch, but if the wind isn't right, conditions aren't right, or nothing solid is in the plans then I'll spend that time with the family. Just have fun.
Season just ended, and I'm already looking forward to it getting here again...
