Correct me if I am wrong, but I am pretty sure you had to receive the letter from Tonk in order to take the survey, right? I would love to see it on the odnr website open for everybody to take.

I appreciate all of your efforts on compiling that data but, please check your antlered to anterless numbers again. Bassackwards on muzzy and gun, I didn't check the bow numbers
Is there any data on button bucks other than the 2010 season, I could never find it. I know that there where 9758 buttons in the antless less number for 2010 but no breakout other years that I could find.

Did not realize that. I received a hard copy in the mail to fill out. Perhaps it states it can be filled out online? Don't know, gonna have to fill mine out and send it in myself.

I think to receive the online survey you had to give the Dnr you email address while buying licenses tags. Could be wrong.

They don;t send it out to everyone though. Only a small dataset. I think the last one they had OSU do was only 5,000 people.
I know the last one was pretty small, in fact no one I know was notified to participate . I was under the impression this was a larger polling cause I know alot of people who were notified to participate
Guys - the online survey is only valid and will only be taken seriously by the DOW if it is totally random and unbiased. DO NOT fill one out unless you were one of the 40,000 people who received one...and yes, they know who did and did not get one.
I screwed up... I received one last year and this year. I filled last year's out religiously everyday when I got home from hunting recording sightings. I then mailed it in at the end of the season. This year I put it off to the side and forgot about it. I filled this year's out into about early November before I forgot about it. If I can locate it, I will send it in as is.

Ok. I deleted the links. But the "randomness" excuse is a load of shit and you know it. You have to enter your odnr customer number off your license. Which means respondents have to have a valid hunting license number.. If you open it up for anyone and everyone to take, how much more fucking random can you get? Put it on the odnr homepage how much more random can you get? If you ask me it sounds like the decks being stacked. How do you limit something then claim randomness?
So he gets to spout his bullshit about the herd being too big, and we need to do reductions, and we have too many deer in every danmn PR interview he does, then present a survey. But you can't factor in guys on websites like OS and TOO etc who are informed and probably the best sportsmen you'll find in this state? Nope. He wants the mushrooms he's kept in the dark and fed bullshit. I guess the opinions only matter if they are not ours. Which means he's angling for the data he wants to hear. Same old bs.
I will let him preserve his little survey, I am going to see the data anyway. It will be very interesting to see the contrast between his and mine.
