I did some scouting last night and snapped some pics. I'll throw them up in another thread shortly. Good find...
 
I'll be hunting Saturday. Seems like a long wait, kinda feel bad for those of you waiting for Ohio's opener. :)
 
I'll be at the check station on the 25th. It should be my 4th year in a row so its kind of become a tradition until Telecheck rolls in next year.

Driveway will be a continual process for a while, but the hardcore work is over with. Takes a long time for gravel to settle in and I have tons of finish work to do so it satisfies my OCD and hers. I'll be ready for September 25th however!!!
 
20 days left fellas...lastnights cool temps got me pumped up and add in a few leaves hitting the ground. Beans are changing to yellow and dropping some leaves and corn is drying out fast...I can't wait :D.
 
If last night didn't make your blood boil, something is wrong with you! Damn boys, it won't be long!!! I might explode sometime between now and then!!!

Spent last night around a bonfire, drinking a couple cold ones, playing cornhole and talking deer hunting. Good times that'll really fuel the fire!!

No CRAP! I walked outside about 2 this morning into the cool morning air.. As soon as the cold air hit me I instantly thought about putting on some camo and smoking up just to get this monkey off my back... It ain't fair I tell ya.. We should be allowed to hunt 365 days a year.. This is like telling a heroin addict he can only shoot the juice for 4 months out of the year and has to stay clean the rest of the time.. ARggghhhhhhh.

The old wives tale is: As soon as you hear the first cicadas it is only 90 days till the first frost. Over the past few years I have known about this I have noticed they are fairly accurate. The frost has come within a week before or after the 90 day mark on the calender. Just remember it doesn't have to be below freezing to frost :D.
