Had a good run last night. 70 jugs and 80 trotline hooks. Broke the 300lb mark in 6 hours. Had an old friend of mine ask me to help his family make a meat run for the year and glad i didn't let them down. Biggest two were just over 30lbs, lost count of 15lb fish. 180 quart cooler that wouldn't shut, 50 quart that wouldnt shut, 48 quart that wouldn't shut, and fish in the bottom of the boat. They ended up with a 50 quart slap full of fillets, and a 48 quart 3/4 full. Should do both families all year.

It was an odd feeling working on a boat instead of being on controls all night. We all had a ball though and they had a ton of good blue cat fillets.

Catch of the Day...I just got home from camp mushroom hunting. This girl was trying to seek a little residency in my residential garage. Too bad I keep a loaded .22 in there. She’s one year old and is nice and lean. I named her, “Dinner”.

Went white perch fishing yesterday....I got 12 and threw back 4 small ones. My buddy, his two daughters and his future SIL caught 38 with 6 throw backs. Not great but not a bad way to spend a morning.
