Hopped over into the WV mountains yesterday to get a brook trout fix.
Took the girls fishing today,Ariana is my little fisherman,Jazzy just wanted to catch butterflies with Lisa..
They had a blast,Ariana spent more time using my fishing pole than her little kid one.
Gonna have to get her a big girl pole.

That's a damn fine good day! I'm taking my oldest to the river in the morning to chase some whitebass. SHOULD be in there thick.

A friend recently moved into a new home with a nice pond. We stopped by to sample it for the last half hour of daylight today. I caught 7, Mason four He had the biggest however.

Mason and I hit a pond for a few minutes before his buddy called and invited him to fish another. They have not fished the other pond before. He was so excited to go that he abandoned me without hesitation.
I landed four, Mason one. My fish were pretty nice. A 20”, 18” and two about 16. Masons was not much bigger than his bait. Perhaps he left due to humiliation...

We hit Erie out of Ashtabula Friday. Had some good quality small mouths in the boat, one of the best days we’ve ever had for quality.
Saturday we hit a farm pond and caught a bunch of large mouths in the pound too pound and a half range....
Didn’t take any pictures of the fish bit got some of the lake
Had a blast hanging with some friends, one of our buddies brother was up from Florida and we had him at Erie and the farm pond as well as the range for some shooting of long and handguns... He’s coming back in September too go for round 2

Spent the weekend in East TN. Hell of a place to fish if you like catching trout.
Even saw a bear cub run through the yard where we were parked.
