Decided against fishing the crowds at the Maumee River and headed the other way to Indian Lake. In around 3 hours I caught about 30 saugeye just to get 6 legals to bring home. Had a blast

I caught some fresh air during lunch today over a local trout stream. I saw a couple steelhead in the 7-10# range swimming upstream but they weren’t biting today. Water is still high and dirty today. Should be good in another day or two.

1 hybrid, 1 white perch, 2 spots, and 1 largemouth. Went for hybrids this afternoon but they wouldn't cooperate. Abigail, dad, and myself all had fun anyways so it was a win for me. Always a great time with 3 generations in the boat together and memories i will cherish forever.

Dad and i got out on the lake today. Got our 2 man limit of bass "20" and culled 6 more. 24 were spots and 2 were largemouth. Its crazy that this lake used to be a largemouth haven. Carolina rigged zoom finesse worm was the blunt of the catch with a couple coming of a bomber plug in craw color. Water temp ranges from 64-69. Good day on the big water.

Found some creek chrome this morning. I kept two 24” males for my smoker and returned the 22” female. Try again tomorrow.

Easy limits 3 days in a row on the big lake.

Had 4 fish Ohio walleyes one day. Jig bite has been phenomenal for us also. 1 hour limits have been happening.

6 people in my family. We go thru a lot of it. Running charters I don't get to keep any of it the customers get it. So when we get to fun fish you can bet we are gonna keep what we catch. Plenty of family members and friends like it also. I dont donate it to the homeless.
