Finally was able too make it out over the weekend and was able to catch some Trout.

Jenna had been bugging me to go this year and we finally got a break in the weather yesterday. Last time her and I went and actually caught walleye was when Allen was a baby. She was always too busy when Allen and I were going. Need to do more of this.

Turkey hunting sucked so I used the rest of the morning to harass some river crappies. When you found the fish, the bite was hot. I fished three different specific little spots and caught a bunch at each.

It's a great catfish hole. Buddy and I took 7 kids down there to let them play so fishing wasn't priority.

We catch and release, for another day..... Today the wind was outta the SE and by noon it did a 180 on us and went from 70 degrees too 50 degrees with whitecaps. We left soon after. Heading back tomorrow and fishing from daybreak until the rain moves in around 1:00......
17lbs yesterday, 21lbs today. All of our best 5 keepers were over 4lbs. They all went back in for another day.
Water is getting clearer and tomorrow should be better.
