Ohio Bobcats

It’s my observation over the years that cats have no time table and will lay for as long as it takes in a spot waiting to pounce. Countless of cat naps in that span with ears on full alert till the least sound causes those eyes to open and Target gets the green. Target almost always loses. So definitely cat.

I'm pretty sure this is a Bobcat . If so it's the first Pic we have ever gotten on our property. We Are located on the border of wayne county and medina. Pretty cool to see , never thought ide see one this far north. Usually see some while hunting in coshocton.

The ODNR listens to money. Always have and always will and I don't see it changing anytime soon. Plus, the "tree huggin' bunny lover" types are bitchin' louder than we are and the ODNR is scared of the negative publicity causing a dent in their funding. :mad:

Don't think for a minute that they don't have a gazillion photos of bobcats sent to them....and they ain't doing anything about it.

I never thought bobcats would make it as far north as Allen County. However, last year I was hunting groundhogs for a farmer and his wife was going ballistic about a bobcat attacking one of her horses. It clawed it up so bad, she had to call a vet to come out and stitch it up. She is now a hard core fan of the SSS Rule. :sneaky:

@Bowhunter57 lil help...

SSS to my engineer brain.

The SSS Rule, or Side-Side-Side Rule, is a criterion used in geometry to determine if two triangles are congruent. It states that if all three sides of one triangle are equal in length to the corresponding three sides of another triangle, then the two triangles are congruent. Congruent triangles have the same shape and size, meaning their corresponding angles and sides are equal.

I'm just wagging it that, ain't what she's SSS'n... :ROFLMAO: I've caught two Bobcats trapping in Coshocton County, had them walk in front of me bowhunting many times. Four confirmed bobcat litters since 2017 on the farm. ODNR should set a quota for counties they are already prolific in.
