Took me awhile to find her an old zebco 202. Way better then any of that crap they make for kids now.

I think everyone had a zebco at one time or another during their fishing career.

We aren’t in the competition but my oldest was pretty pumped about his first of the year! I wasn’t even at the pond for the initial catch as I had several tires on the land scape trailers to change but got called down for the release! His first was a crappie but we only got a pic of the largy! I love this stuff boys!

Caught 5 steelhead today in The Grand River in the 7-9# range. Today’s ticket was orange flies. Here’s 2 on the stringer, one in the net, plus a pic. Guess that’s an 8 point morning.

No pics, but caught a dozen or so nice crappies, a few small large mouths and a couple bluegills on an ultralight with a 1/16oz jighead and a little gulp trout worm at my buddie's pond yesterday afternoon.
