I placed an order for a Hoyt Satori riser from a reputable archery company in Maryland. The order was for a 19" Hoyt Satori riser, in Buckskin color. Shipping and correspondence was good, but when I opened the package this evening, the riser is Black, not the Buckskin color that I ordered. I was hoping to put some limbs on it and get in some shooting time, as soon as it arrived.
I don't want to wait for another couple of weeks for the turn around with return, etc. So, I emailed the guy and told him about the wrong color, after checking all the ordering information that said, "Buckskin" for the color and I'm going to keep it as is, but I'm not ordering from him again. The riser will do everything that I need, but it would've been nice to get what was ordered. It'll be interesting to see what his response is to this email.
How would you have responded?
