Panhandling

My crazy ass friend doing Florda Man shit, funny he was hoodlum / contractor in Chicago, came down here after Hurricane Ivan, had some great times. He confronted a man while he had a machete that was trespassing on his land and threatened him - over a decade ago. He got time for that, not the dude that trespassed and threatened him. I.e., why the video capture and 'machete' call sign.

While spearfishing on his boat with my boy he's the only one I know that Bangsticked two bull sharks in one dive while we were bringing up the fish we speared in the dive, vis was maybe 10' and the sharks were on us nosing in, #BANG# reload. I had mine out but hadn't felt that threatened, but I couldn't see the one he hammered first. It was behind and below me coming up.

His take on fishing and spearfishing here. "So easy even a caveman could do it." ..and he kinda resembled that.

His story of the events : "... I'll fucking zip-tie you..." :ROFLMAO:

CLAYDOUGH

Here’s the selected parts of the video footage. (Beware, language). There may or may not be some missing just to make sure there isn’t any overly incriminating footage. Might have deleted any ‘unnecessary’ parts.

Yesterday (Saturday 4/26) the streets around us erupted in sirens, and Sherriff’s choppers soon began circling overhead directly over the block we're in for over an hour. Turns out some piece of trash, among a string of other crimes, (allegedly) kidnapped his ex who was 5 months pregnant and had a restraining order against him, led police on a high speed chase with the hostage in the car, and ended in a crash on the nearby cross street, then fled on foot causing a full on man-hunt for him. Roads were closed in both directions on all sides of us.

The man-hunt went on for a little over an hour and a half. Until this clown made the uninformed decision to climb the 7-foot tall barbed-wire fence surrounding us and our neighbors areas, and thought here would be a good place hide out.

Bless his heart. If he sure didn’t pick the wrong fence to climb and the wrong place to trespass. Machete don’t play that.

Some of our neighbors right next to us who were outside working had seen him entering one of their sheds and leaving. Nah man... we ain’t having that.

So when I saw where he was I jumped out of my truck, ran up on him, and detained him. In a very friendly and amicable matter. Didn’t have to pull my weapon. Let him know if I did it would be because I had intentions, so it was in his best interest to not make me nervous. He understood. Jackie came running down the private drive with our body-cam (yeah, always document... don’t leave it to ‘witnesses’ to tell what you did).

Rest of the story and details are in the video. There were some scary moments cuz Pedro was all up in the middle of the LEO takedown and almost got smoked a couple times! And almost got runned over with one of the vehicles coming in hot AF. I did get a little silly towards the end. It was Saturday in Miami after all.. sun was shining, beer was cold, limes were fresh. And Pedro our disco chicken was still alive!

So... turns out I helped a little bit ending an almost 2 hour man-hunt with every available LEO department. Feels good to do a little somthin’ good thing every now and then, and hopefully made someone’s life better and prevented others from being victims. I don’t know the condition of the pregnant ex and the car crash. I’m hoping for the best.

Best part that absolutely made my day was what the senior LEO said in the video:

"We do appreciate what you have done. You got a very thinking mind that a lot of people don't....We really do appreciate your help. That was very helpful. And very brave. Not a lot of people are willing to step up and do something about it. I just have to say it is true we do appreciate that. You did help us a lot. We do appreciate your help. Thank you sir."

I wouldn’t call it brave, maybe a little crazy. (I have been called El Gringo Loco down here). They say everyone has a ‘fight or flight’ response. Maybe I ain’t right and somethings broke, I dunno. Like my Pops has said about being a door gunner for 2 tours in Nam (that statistics say the average lifespan of a Vietnam door-gunner was just two weeks, but the joke was 5 minutes), it wasn’t being brave. Was just doing what needed to be done.

We are south of Miami in the agricultural district. It’s not like the Miami you know with high rises, concrete, clubs, subdivisions, shopping centers, etc. This is like the rural farm areas of South America, Cuba, or the Caribbean, with farms growing tropical papaya, mango, coconut, lychee, mamey, coconut, etc., tropical plant nurseries, horse ranches, ostrich and emu farms, etc. Sometimes on the major roads, we get stuck for a mile behind tractors pulling 2 or 3 trailers of plants or produce. Lots of dirt roads, wildlife, etc. We love it here. Mostly much better people too than the typical Miami / South Florida a-hole.

There’s a private drive we share with neighbors with an electric security gate at the entrance.

As far as illegals, despite living as close as we can get to ‘paradise’ in the continental U.S., I have PLENTY of footage of ‘altercations’ with illegals causing issues here, weapons out, death threats, etc. (Might post some videos at a future date). It is still Miami, and sh*t-stains tend to spread. I’ve had it out with Jamaicans, Columbians, Haitians, Cubans, El Salvadorians, etc. Violence is all illegals understand because they think they’re untouchable.

But everyone in the video (exept the OTHER guy in the wife beater since I don’t know his status yet) is a LEGAL immigrant. Mostly Cubans, an Ecuadorian, Venezuelan, etc. They are our neighbors, our friends, hate the ones who cheated and didn’t do the same effort they did to legally become citizens, and all voted for Trump. (funny how the ones who left everything, risked it all, and at great expense took their families out of dictator communist countries in financial ruins, all hate Biden/Obma/Kamalatoe, the left's ideas, but proudly vote for, support, and fly Trump flags? Some of the stories these friends have told me about what has happened to them or family members under Castro. And the older ones have told me stories about Ché Guevara, who I've see dimwits wearing shirts with him as if he's a hero).

They’re all hard workers, most at least 6 if not 7 days a week, and mostly are OTR semi-truck owners and drivers who started with nothing. Instead of sitting back waiting for a handout they made their own way. They truly embraced the ‘American Dream’ that even many native-born Americans are too lazy to strive for. I drink with them, eat with them, laugh with them, occasionally smoke their fine Cubans (which they try to push on me daily), borrow their tools/equipment and share mine and our fruit with them. They are old-school ‘word is bond’ types. One of the guys in the video, very first time he met us when we moved here, he called us over to show us where he hides the key to his sweet Mercedes. Said Jackie or me could use it anytime he’s not here, instead of driving our 7.3 Turbo Diesel. He said because that’s what neighbors do. These are good people. And proud U.S. citizens.

To all the bleeding hearts... The problem isn’t immigrants. Immigrants are often better people than native born citizens. It’s ILLEGAL immigrants. You can’t illegally trespass into a country and label it “undocumented”. I promise you, every LEGAL immigrant has their documents. I can’t hop the fence to an Airforce base or the Whitehouse, and claim I’m not an ILLEGAL trespasser, I’m just undocumented. (I dunno... maybe I identify as a Blue Angel Pilot, or the Pres? Yeah, that’s it.)

You can’t allow tens of thousands to flood in just by simply claiming ‘asylum’ when the facts show only a small percentage actually qualify. I can (and probably will sometime) post video of how things go down in the real world and the stand-offs Jackie and I have been in, flooded with the worst of the ILLEGALS. Not your garden variety Mexican at Homie Depot trying to get some daily work. So before you speak on something you’ve never experienced and that has never affected you, step out of your safe suburbs removed from reality other than why you see on your slanted news channel, come down here, strap up, and deal with what we’ve dealt with. Even in this ‘paradise’. Hope you keep one ridin’ dirty in the chamber. Machete out.
